Irish Claims Consultants Association (ICCA)
The professional body representing Public Loss Assessors & Claims Consultants in Ireland.
The ICCA was founded in 2010. The purpose of the Association is to have a professional Industry body for Public Loss Assessors and Claims Consultants within the ever changing Insurance market. We act for policyholders who have suffered damage to their property. We are at the coalface of how consumers are treated by Insurers and Loss Adjusters and others in the claims process.
Members include a representation of small, medium and large firms of Assessors nationwide. To find a member click on the link above.
We have set up a Council of members to oversee governance of the ICCA
The Council aim to achieve the following objectives:
- To raise our profile with other Insurance Industry bodies
- To build awareness of Loss Assessing with the insuring public
- To have regular meetings for members
- To have a forum to discuss the issues that affect our clients
- To meet with the Central Bank and Insurers regarding matters that affect consumers in relation to property claims
We aim to improve professional standards of the members of our Association and to be a communication conduit with the Central Bank in relation to issues that affect consumers in relation to property claims.
We have a Council of elected members in place to pursue those Goals and others as we move forward.
Since the inauguration in 2010 the Association has steadily grown, and is seen as the representative body for Professional Loss Assessors in Ireland.
All of the members of the ICCA are authorised and regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.
ICCA members deal with the vast majority of all property claims handled by Loss Assessors in Ireland.
